Professional Ethics & Standards

Voluntary professional guidance and internal membership governance, not government powers.

01

Professional Code of Conduct

Proposed principles: honest representation, respectful professional behaviour, informed permissions, privacy, attributable work and fair participation. Final rules, decision responsibilities and review processes await approval.

02

Tattoo Hygiene & Safety Guidelines

Educational professional guidance must retain its source, qualified scope and local context. It is not universal law or proof that a member or studio is safe. Actual working procedures require appropriate instruction and local arrangements.

03

Tattoo Pigment Safety Guidance

Use identifiable product and public-health sources and confirm applicable local requirements. Do not present an internal association guideline as a mandatory international pigment limit. US FDA tattoo-safety reading, with its own jurisdiction ↗

04

Professional Best-Practice Framework

A proposed framework can organise professional questions, documentation and improvement. Voluntary Studio Best-Practice Reviews and a Voluntary Standards Alignment Review are proposed non-statutory concepts, not active inspection or accreditation services. Both are Coming soon pending approved scope and responsible reviewers.

05

International Cooperation Framework

Professional cooperation does not establish an international treaty, reciprocal legal rights or government recognition. International Artist Collaboration & Guest-Spot Guidance must distinguish an introduction from immigration permission, local practice requirements and an actual agreement.

06

Membership Disciplinary Process

Any future internal process needs clear grounds, proportionate evidence, conflicts management, notice, a fair opportunity to respond and approved review arrangements. It concerns association membership only. No fine, government licence revocation or legal enforcement service is operated.

07

Ethics & Grievance Committee

Internal complaint routing is Coming soon. No fictional cases or findings are displayed. A general enquiry is not a lodged complaint or a finding against a person. Formal procedures and a responsible contact remain pending.
